The Food Diaries: KOPPU - Ramen Concept Food

Introducing The Food Diaries - sharing my food experiences through photographs and a few words. A few weeks ago, I went to a ramen restaurant and it was a-ma-zing! Koppu has been on my wishlist for sometime now and it did match the expectations I had. For starters, we ordered some gyozas , tebasaki and shitake mushrooms. I had the gyozas and they were perfect; the meat inside was juicy, the noodle/outer shell (whatever you call that part) was soft and it was overall a very good start to our meal. I also tried the tebasaki : fried chicken wings, the touch of sesame seeds and soy sauce made them delicious. (The comments on the mushrooms were also very positive.) On to the main dish: ramen!! I had the tan tan men original ramen, the spiciest on the menu (I would have used a little tiny bit more spicy sauce but that's just me). The noodles were perfect, the pork was very tasty and the broth was absolutely delicious!!! You can't go wrong with this o

The travel diares: Home

Macau. My Home. The place in the world where it feels most like Home to me. Where I was born and lived until I was 9 years old. Despite having lived most of my life in Lisbon, Macau will always feel like Home. A happy place. I returned to Macau for the first time in 2016. I spent 17 years dreaming of my return. After a very emotional return, I wasn't expecting the second time to feel the same. But it did. Just as emotional, just as wonderful and all I could've wanted. I was Home. I didn't sightsee as much as the first time, mostly it was a time to relax. But I was back and happy. Witnessing the portuguese heritage in Macau. Albus demanded I take him to the Ruins of St. Paul's Church. Alleyways with mixed architectural elements.  Temple and incense.  Last time I visited, this temple was already closed.
