Follow my blog with Bloglovin And time has come to say goodbye to Japan. This is the final post, about our final day. We reserved a very special trip for the last day. The four us took Albus to see Nikko. And these are some of the photographs we took. Up to this point, we followed the traditional trail. We saw a trail that would lead us to a waterfall and thought "Why not?". Looks like the setting of a Tolkien book. The day didn't end well. The weather suddenly changed and it started raining and we heard way too many thunders.  As we hurried back to the station, on foot and without anything that could resemble a raincoat, the group got separated. This has got to be the most physically challenging thing I have done so far. Sports aren't my thing and yet I thought "Let's do this". My friends were crazy enough to agree and the four of us set out to climb Mount Fuji. That's right. Climb. Mount Fuji. At 3,776m, it is Japan's tallest mountain. We didn't hike all the way, we started around 2,000m but it was a real challenge.  Of course, Albus tagged along.  It took us 8hrs to reach the summit and witness a trully beautiful sunrise. Cheers to the Chinese ladies who told us to turn around and witness it at the perfect moment! Hello, hello!! So, day three in Shànghǎi was spent partly in the Yu Garden and partly strolling around. The surroundings of the garden (above) look like those of a baazar! Feeling like I was inside a movie, the landscape and everything in the garden was so peaceful. My faithful yellow bag, a model I bought from SAMSONITE . Waterproof, full of pockets and extremely lightweight! Back in the outside: SO.MANY.PEOPLE!!!!! And the baazar feeling, once again! Pre-lunch game: something yummy! And I was able to meet friends who were also traveling in China :) Actual lunch: spice beef noodle soup!! Delish *thumbs up* Visited a temple and tossed a few coins inside the giant "pot" you see above. It is said that the higher the coin gets, the luckier you'll be! The funniest way to pick a drink!
