I'm loving them...

We all have favourites, right? Favourite foods, music, places. And of course products. What I want to talk about are two products that have become the pillars of my morning routine. The only reason that keeps me from using them is lack of time due to those extra minutes of sleep! Curious much? Here they are: THE BODY SHOP Spa of the World - Japanese Camellia Cream and SLEEK Be Beautiful Blemish Balm. The BB cream: that's right. A BB cream. I asked a friend what she thought of the idea of me getting one. I have a normal skin and have been blessed with 0% achne. There are no spots or scars for me to cover, so the idea was to find a light product that gave my face an even tone, without making it look like I had a mask on. After reading reviews online, this was the best brand for normal skin: it doesn't turn orange over the day, easy to apply, dries fast and doesn't look to shinny or matte. The other plus was the fact that SLEEK is an affordable brand. I wasn't sure I...

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true. But how can I resist when BIMBA & LOLA  always make such pretty collections? Who wouldn't want a pretty red bag as these? Ever since I bought a backpack, I've ditched the sho...

Universal

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. The coral one was also on my wishlist, but I found the colour to be very light on the lips.  So what did I bring? See the black one? "Black lipstick and black blush?" Naah!! The packaging is gorgeous, but I'm a sucker for black and pink. Also the poppy flower print blends in very well with the logo! Here's what's interesting: this stick is called "universal" because it works for everyone. But not everyone will get the same shade! The colour changes according to your skin's pH ...

As much as try to sleep long and well enough, something always seems to wake me up in the middle of the night, thus breaking my beauty sleep and making me feel sooo tired in the morning. As a result, dark circles form under my eyes. This is something that happens to everyone, I'm just lucky enough mine aren't too deep and dark, more like a shadow you cannot remove! Over the weekend I  went to M.A.C, decided to solve the "problem". From what I gathered online, the Mineralize Concealer was the best choice for me and the ladies at the store suggested it, along with a pressed powder to mattify the eye area after apllying the concealer. Today was the first time I tried the products... Without any makeup: After applying the concealer and the powder (no foundation or any other products): The results are subtle, but they're visible! I'm very pleased with my purchases and even more in love with the quality of M.A.C cosmetics. After, it was time to apply black eyeliner,...
