Yep, here I am again. This time by train, I'm headed to Madrid to spend a couple of days. But, going by train means 12 hours (almost) of no sleep. Black has always been one of my favourite colours. It has the ability to make you look casual and relaxed and, when required, makes you look sophisticated and chic. My favourite items include my pair of CAT boots, my leather biker jacket, dresses and my BIMBA & LOLA tote. And eyeliner! After a week of work and running around, I decided to wear a monochrome ensemble today. But for me, wearing an ensemble like this requires a pop of colour: shoes, bag or makeup, one must contrast. The last couple of days have been absolutely horrible. Between the rain and the cold, I find myself wearing the same boots everyday and have no clue as what to do with my hair. Usually I end up putting a beanie and as soon as get to work, I do a very sloppy ponytail to get the hair out of my eyes. Waking up yesterday, I felt inspired by all the hours I spent pinning and browsing on Pinterest . I decided to make a high bun with a braid on the back of my head. As for the clothes, a skirt and a lace blouse felt perfect to add a feminine touch and to contrast with my boots. Isn't it funny how everyone loves tshirts? We buy and buy tshirts and then a time comes when you have to stop and think if it's still apropriate to wear tshirts. I mean, going to work everyday wearing tshirts isn't a very good thing. And this has happened to me.  Working as an assistant has made me reconsider my outfits and what should I wear as work outfits. And so my search for blouses began. Although my love for tshirts has not gone away, I acquired some more sophisticated choices: chiffon with an embroidery in the back and black and white peplum blouse.
