The travel diaries: countdown

Image
Starts today. Countdown begins at two weeks. Me. In two weeks time. Me. In London!! All I can say is FINALLY! I have been wanting to go for so long and it's so close...that's the problem with close destinations: you leave them for last because "I can go anytime!". It's as cliché as it gets, but you kind of want to see all these things when you go to London, right?  Now that Severus Snape is no longer Master of Potions, I want to go even more and see the platform! ( at a certain time, I actually believed I was going to Hogwarts and waited for my letter all day when I turned 11). Got any tips for a first timer in Her Majesty's land? XOXO, M

Colour me nude

Image
Happy monday everyone!! Today I want to share with you two new things I got. Have you heard about M.A.C 's Faerie Whispers collection? This is one of the promotional images. I got excited as soon as I saw the first pictures: girly, delicate and mysterious. When I saw images of the products, I was a little aprehensive. I don't usually wear such pale and neutral colours, but guess what? I got myself two lipsticks!  Don't be fooled by the "cremesheen", they have a great colour! The darker, mocca-like lipstick is Among the fireflies. The caramel one is Midsummer Night . The images and swatches I saw online made Among the fireflies look more like a nude of a pink shade and I had my mind set on getting it. It turned out to be more brown, very 90's but, strangely enough, I liked it. Midsummer Night was a suprise and I ended up bring both with me home. Wearing Among the fireflies Wearing Midsummer Night Would you buy any of these lipsticks? Do you wear nude shades of

Getting fit

Image
One of my decisions for 2016 was to improve myself. One of the meanings of this decisions was to be more active and become more fit! It's no secret I do yoga and I love it. Last year, I finally bought a mattress and I decided to start this year with new gym clothes. Since OYSHO has launched a fitness line, I thought it was worth the investment.   #1: shorts. Black and pink, quick dry fabric and with an extra layer that stays fitted to your thighs. Perfect for summer workouts. #2: cropped leggings. Again, same colour scheme, quick dry fabric. I have already used them and they are super comfortable! These are great for mid-season/ cold days. I also put on a pair of leg warmers, but they are quickly tossed aside once the practice begins. *laughs* #3: Organic cotton top. Working out and being environmentally conscious? YES SIR!! The fabric feels so soft and lightweight, it was a really great find. Now I can leave the old tshirts at home and practice with a little more style. Usually t

Happy New Year and may 2016 bring everything you wish! 2015 is behind me and all I can say is "FINALLY!!!". It definitely was not my year, although it did have some good moments:  - the trip to Morroco was amazing and I loved every bit of it. I ate so many delicious food, the drinks were always present and it was the best way to end summer. - concerts: The Script, The Prodigy, James Bay, Bear's Den, Bombay Bicycle Club, Florence + the Machine, Franz Ferdinand & Sparks are just some the bands I saw this past year. Festival season is one of the best times to be in Lisbon. Although the number of people in the streets increases, the city just pulses with new energy and cultural diversity. - the trip to the South of France was another good moment. The sights, the food, seeing a group of young and talented musicians dazzle new audiences is priceless. As for this year? I have a few awesome ideas/plans: - travel: this is a special thing and I shall share more about this over
