A week that started in Lisbon and then there was #VodafoneParedesdeCoura festival. So many great concerts, a wonderful environment and a lot of instant noodles!! Birthday celebrations
They say as you get older, you lose interest in your own birthday, but that's not true for me (at least not yet). Monday I celebrated my 24th birthday but celebrations began the previous night, with a dinner with daddy in a very trendy place in Lisbon: the old Mercado da Ribeira has been converted into a space with some of the best restaurants in town, and the centre of it has been filled with long tables, eliminating the idea of a private meal and stimulating a sense of community. On monday I then had lunch with mommy and at night was time to change into a little black dress and dine with the sweetest boyfriend at a sushi place. First time eating sushi and a success. Colour Crush: green
As a colour associated with hope, green was picked to be this week's shade. I find myself hoping for good weather for next week's camping trip, in Paredes de Coura, for the music festival that this year features Franz Ferdinand! XOXO, M
Only a few days away
That's right, my birthday is only a few days away. Due to the amount of work I had last week, there was no opportunity to think about what I'd like to receive. I finally managed to give it some thought and the result is what you see here. A backpack is also on my thoughts, but I haven't found the perfect model. Last week, during my trip to Italy and due the very hot weather, my iPad case got ruined and I have been forced to look into some options and came up with the two you'll see in the image: a complete case and a back shell, compatible with the smart cover. Still don't know which one to pick...
