Valentine's Day: DIY
I like browsing for DIY ideas on Pinterest , but I rarely put them into action. With Valentine's Day coming and F being in Madrid and myself in Lisbon, it felt like a good opportunity to craft up a gift and do some of the projects I found. And in case you're crafty yourself and would rather do your own than buy, here are some pictures found on Pinterest . Valetine's Day: His and Hers
KWe're back to that time of year called Valentine's Day. Sheldon would say to take your someone special to witness a massacre, but if you're more like me and prefer the romantic aproach, here are some ideas of special things you can buy. :) A nice pen and planners if your man likes to actually write things down. For the tech savvy, why not give him a speaker for "iThing", that also looks great as an alarm clock? Then you have your safe options: a coat, a watch and chocolate. Chocolate is always nice! And now for the girls: pretty straight forward items, right? LUSH has great products for Valentine's Day and I find this heart shapped soap just adorable. And then there's makeup/jewelry/lingerie and flowers, all screaming love and romance! I found the candle in a google search and IT IS GORGEOUS and would make for a very nice gift. Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. The coral one was also on my wishlist, but I found the colour to be very light on the lips. So what did I bring? See the black one? "Black lipstick and black blush?" Naah!! The packaging is gorgeous, but I'm a sucker for black and pink. Also the poppy flower print blends in very well with the logo! Here's what's interesting: this stick is called "universal" because it works for everyone. But not everyone will get the same shade! The colour changes according to your skin's pH ...

February wishlist
WeINothing like a wishlist to start off the week (and month) right? The pastel colour of the underwear contrasts with the bright tone of the dress and makeup but they all have one thing in common: Spring please come soon! 1. OYSHO (each item sold separately) 2. THE BODY SHOP 3. THE BODY SHOP 4. ZARA 5. THE BODY SHOP 6. ZARA My desire to own a red dress transitioned from last year. All I've seen so far is either too dressy or too short...maybe this time I'll buy one! Black pants are a basic piece to have in your wardrobe, as well as a red lipstick. Granted, this is more coral than red, but still ideal to brighten up the look. The black bottle is the new frangrance by THE BODY SHOP , Smoky Poppy. In my opinion it's the most sensual packaging they have, ideal for Valentine's Day (wink wink). To be fair, I have yet to try it but my expectations are very high. Following the Valentine's Day theme, how about the lingerie? There's something very feminine and sexy abo...
