That Girl With A Camera

After a few days spent in Madrid, I am now back in Lisbon and ready to resume my duties! But before that, here are some pictures taken in the spanish capital. (This one was actually taken in october, holding my boyfriend's double bass outside his school.) Visitors are not allowed to take pictures of that part of the museum, so I cannot show the painting. After seeing it for the second time, my feelings remain unchanged: it is an amazing painting, overwhelming in its size and in the symbols it helds. Really worth the visit and on sundays you can visit the collection for free ( from 2:30 pm until 7 pm). I know I've been a little M.I.A so here are some pictures of what I've been up to. After arriving on thursday, there wasn't much to do so the night went on with a nice meal at home and some Criminal Minds episodes. But I managed to have some hot chocolate at AUDREY 's shortly after arriving. Yesterday was spent walking around in the afternoon, while at night we went to a cozy gathering to celebrate Saint Cecilia, patron of musicians.  (some stores in Fuencarral Street) And now, before going out to have dinner, I'm enjoying some black tea and my new purchases! Feminine. Original. Urban. These are a few thoughts that cross my mind when I think of BIMBA & LOLA .  I'm making a list of items I want to buy right after Christmas, but this item couldn't wait. After months looking for a new beauty box and deciding to buy or not to buy one, I ordered my first SKINBOX . Unlike the first one I bought, POPYBOX ( see here ), this box contains products found mainly in pharmacies, chosen by a specialist. The slogan is cute and the box seems nice from the outside. Once it is open, you're overwhelmed by the smell. I left the box open and scent filled my room. :) Although the products are from brands I don't normally buy, I'm curious as to how good they are. My box came with: - Physiological Micellar Solution, LA ROCHE-POSAY , 50ml - Nourishing Body Lotion, CAUDALIE , 30ml - Gentle Conditioning Shampoo, CAUDALIE , 30ml - Shower Gel Thé des Vignes , CAUDALIE , 75ml - BB Cream, EMBRYOLISSE , 5ml I'm happy with the products, the only thing I'm unfamiliar with is the BB Cream, but it's always time to try new things. Following the colour crush of this week, I like to show you all my red/reddish nail polishes. I love painting my nails, I love buying nail polishes and there's always a good excuse to buy another (yet so different) *insert colour* nail polishes. And, until I thought of this post, I didn't realize I had so many red nail polishes! This week I've used both the RISQUÉ and the ESSIE (currently being used). As you can see, I have a few, and once I put them on, I realize how different they are, from red to an almost coral hue ( Juicy ), to more purple tones or bloody hues ( Pura Luxúria & Onyx ). I don't know how many of you tried the sugar trend, but it's pretty awesome. It's a shame KIKO no longer sells these lacquers. Are you all ready for the weekend? Two shades to brighten up the cold season. And these are items I'd wear daily, plus the lip colour is a new favourite (this CHANEL is on my wishlist!)! That's the overall feeling I get whenever I wear this skirt. Romantic. The ivory lace is also feminine, delicate. I usually end up pairing it with something black, for contrast. So when I bought these over the knee/knee high socks, I immediately had this outfit in my mind. As I grow up and get older, I try to keep somethings that remind me of the joy of being a child. Whether by watching old Disney movies, listening to very pop-ish 90's music or by purchasing things that have a very young aura to them. Like this beanie!
