Christmas has passed, bring on the New Year!

I barely have time to do anything these days, I'm really sorry! But I had to blog today, it's been too long!!

 I hope you all had a good Christmas, with lots of good stuff and great company; I know I did!
And how about 'em presents, huh? Was Santa a generous man? As for me, I had just what I really wanted. Here are some pictures of my Christmas ^^





 Santa (aka Mommy) brought me the Snow Fairy Showe Gel and other LUSH stuff...so happy!!  And also, my new bunny polar blanket!

Meet our Christmas Miracle. This poor fella was alone for more than a month. His cage was filled with so many things and so little food and no water. We found him on the 25th and brought him home. The good thing is he seems to be healthy and he eats and runs all day. Hopefully, in no time, he'll no longer be skin and bones! :)






 I confess I wasn't expecting this last gift. A refill of Marco Polo black tea for the busy days at the shop and a bonus of macarrons and chocolate dragées. I'm a happy girl!



And now it's time to go to bed. But before I go, is anyone going to do some sales' shopping? Gonna lose your minds? Tell me everything!

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. The coral one was also on my wishlist, but I found the colour to be very light on the lips.  So what did I bring? See the black one? "Black lipstick and black blush?" Naah!! 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true.
