February Wishlist

Hello everyone! I'm back after a few days without posting and I'm sorry for that!
I hope everyone had a wonderful V's Day!

 Today I want to share a little wishlist I made. I called it "February Wishlist" but it is really a much longer term wishlist. I combined accessories with clothing and some LUSH products. One of the bath bombs I already have, just waiting for the right moment to be used. The clothing items are things I really like and since I love orient-themed things, kimonos had to be here. I must confess my "best friend" this winter has been a chinese jacket my mother gave me (she got tired of it, lucky me). I'm wearing it here.

 And now, the February Wishlist!



Two kimonos and a blouse with a bird-and-flowers theme, very oriental-like in my opinion. Also, the black pencil skirt, I must buy one. It is as important as the LBD. All of these are from ZARA.
I saw the cat sweater today, in OYSHO, as well as the eye masks and found them lovely. I'm considering buying one of the masks, but can't decide on which one!!
Then there's the BIMBA&LOLA ring and the PANDORA bracelet. The bracelet I made it myself, using the creator in the website. It's a very clever idea, you can actually mix and match and preview the bracelet of your dreams. A chinese cat for good luck, the Breast Cancer Awareness charm for a great cause, the horse stands for my chinese zodiac and a few other meaningful charms.
Finally, the LUSH things. This time I chose the bath bombs. Like I said, I have one, the beige one under the blouse with the birds. It's "Dragon's Egg" and smells lovely! The other two look great and I wouldn't mind putting them in my tub. The purple one is "Sex Bomb" and the pink is "Think Pink". And the eyeliner. Dark blue, called "Control" and one I want to buy soon!

 I guess I covered everything in the wishlist. Let me know what you think about it and what your wishlists are.

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true.
