Tops and stains

After careful consideration and a lot of reading, I decided to try the new REVLON Just Bitten Kissable. Aparently it's a big hit and a wonderful product (according to some bloggers) and I ordered the shade Lovesick. 

My order was placed on www.skin.pt , an online store that also has a monthly beauty box. The website contains a variety of products from cosmetics to body and skin care, mostly found on pharmacies and chemists. The advantage is they have lower prices and occasionally you might get special promotions and great deals.

The website also sells ESSIE products and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to try out their repairing base coat, since my nails seem to have joined some rebellion and chip and break all the time!

After finalizing my order on wednesday morning, it took only 24h for the package to arrive! Curious?


As soon as you open the box, you could feel a very intense scent from CAUDALIE and they also sent me a sample from the perfume you see on the second image: Masakï Eau de Parfum. The way the package was presented was great, everything inside the box was well placed and the wrapping was intact. As for the products... I can't wait to test them.

Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller.
