Hair Inspiration

It's been a little over a year since I changed my hair colour (and cut): from brunette with a long hair to copper with shoulder lenght hair. I then tried bright red, but for some reason, the colour didn't stick and I decided to try colouring my hair at home, using OLIA. The colour is amazing and it's lasting a lot more than my last trip to the hair saloon!

But the time has come to visit a professional and have my hair properly dyed ( and cut). I enjoyed seeing myself with bright hair colour and that's what I'm going for. I'm just not sure about the cut, but i feel I should risk a "just-above-the-shoulders" cut. My volumous/fizzy/rebelious hair has a will of its own, making it hard to style, but thank god I bought a hair straightner! :)

Should I risk a shorter haircut or keep it medium and growing?


As for the colour, it's just like the pictures below: bright, vibrant red!

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true.
