2015, please give me...

This post is not meant for small things, like coats, shoes and makeup. I decided to to write about BIG wants. And my BIG wants are 3. Simple as that.


1 - Beach Vacation: as I lost my "student" status and began working, the weight of daily responsibilities and tasks began to take its toll. I am no longer capable to function after 4 hours of sleep, my sleeping hours are sacred and I long for moments when I have absolutely nothing to do. The idea of an "all inclusive" resort vacation is very appealing and I'm already looking into it for the summer.


2 - City Vacation: as much as relaxing in a white sand beach and swimming for hours in the sea may sound, I also like to explore urban sights. The idea of traveling to London for a few days grows more and more on me, so who knows? 2015 may be the year for it!


3 - DSLR Camera: this is one I've been postponing for quite some time. If all goes according to plan, I'll have one by september. As of the moment, my pictures are taken with my iPad and, occasionally, with my compact FUJIFILM camera. Of course having a better camera would improve my photos here on the blog, but the thruth is I long to use my own camera when taking photos of the orchestra during their concerts. Also, whenever I travel, the photographs would be so much better!

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true.
