Spring Wishlist



1 to 7: BIMBA & LOLA
Although I included three bags, 5 is the cutest thing if, like me, vintage pieces melt your heart, and its brightness just screams spring and summer. 3 and 4 are easy to combine with multiple outfits and easy to carry around ( and my iPad fits them both apparently). 
Wearing multiple items of the same jewelry piece has become a thing for me. I love pairing rings, and both 2 and 6 have the perfect vibe for warm sunny days. And to go along, there's 7, the bracelet version of ring(s) 6.
Since I'm not a heels kind of girl ( not that I don't like them, it's just not practical in Lisbon), flats are usually my go-to option in any season, and in spring and summer, sandals are perfect. Occasionally I find some wedges that are comfortable to walk around in, but sandals like 1 are always what I look for.

8: LUSH
Ultrabland is a very peculiar product. It seems like a wax and it clears all trace of makeup from your face, as well as it cleans and sooths the skin. Take a little in your fingers and spread it all over your face, gently rubbing as you do it. Afterwards, take a ball of cotton and with warm water or a liquid tonic ( Tea Tree Water is great) clean your face and remove the product, leaving just a little trace if you have dry skin ( or completely removing it if you have oily skin). Et voila, clean and moisturized skin.

9: VANS X THE BEATLES
I've been using less and less sneakers with my outfits, mostly because mine are falling apart and also because it just doesn't feel right to wear them to work everyday. But as soon as I heard about this collaboration, I knew I had to have one pair. The designs on all pairs are inspired by the album Yellow Submarine and they are absolutely beautiful. This is my favourite and will soon be coming home with me, but here are the others.


This is a spring wishlist and although warm days have only just began, I'm already dreaming about bikinis and beach and light fabrics with colour, lots of colour.

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. The coral one was also on my wishlist, but I found the colour to be very light on the lips.  So what did I bring? See the black one? "Black lipstick and black blush?" Naah!! The packaging is gorgeous, but I'm a sucker for black and pink. Also the poppy flower print blends in very well with the logo! 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true.
