It's Monday!!

Here's to a new week! Here's to having a smile on your face when everyone around is mad it's Monday. I don't care if the skies are grey and it's cold all around! Here's to a positive attitude!

 Now, moving on to interesting things...today I decided to take a good care of myself. And my day started with these goodies:


my shower jelly WOOSH and my facial scrub OCEAN SALT, both from LUSH; and my soft and scented Lotus and Frangipani Flower Body Puree from THE BODY SHOP.
These were followed by me leaving the house on a hurry. But I stopped by the mirror and put the following on:



SHEPORA Long Lasting Liquid Eyeliner (black), H&M Lipgloss and THE BODY SHOP Candied Ginger Lip Balm. The balm is from last year but aparently TBS brought it back and with a new design: it has the Gingerbread Man on the lid!! So cute *.*

 And I decided to take a walk today. I went to a typical tourist spot in Lisbon, with lots of cool monuments and coffee shops and bakeries: Chiado. And there's a lot of shops too! Being that the case, I went to H&M and brought home this pretty baby:

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. The coral one was also on my wishlist, but I found the colour to be very light on the lips.  So what did I bring? See the black one? "Black lipstick and black blush?" Naah!! The packaging is gorgeous, but I'm a sucker for black and pink. Also the poppy flower print blends in very well with the logo! Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true. But how can I resist when BIMBA & LOLA  always make such pretty collections? Who wouldn't want a pretty red bag as these? Ever since I bought a backpack, I've ditched the sho...

Hair Inspiration

It's been a little over a year since I changed my hair colour (and cut): from brunette with a long hair to copper with shoulder lenght hair. I then tried bright red, but for some reason, the colour didn't stick and I decided to try colouring my hair at home, using OLIA . The colour is amazing and it's lasting a lot more than my last trip to the hair saloon! But the time has come to visit a professional and have my hair properly dyed ( and cut). I enjoyed seeing myself with bright hair colour and that's what I'm going for. I'm just not sure about the cut, but i feel I should risk a "just-above-the-shoulders" cut. My volumous/fizzy/rebelious hair has a will of its own, making it hard to style, but thank god I bought a hair straightner! :) Should I risk a shorter haircut or keep it medium and growing? As for the colour, it's just like the pictures below: bright, vibrant red! Have a wonderful monday! XOXO, M
