From the Great Masters

On my last visit to Madrid, I got the opportunity to revisit the Reina Sofia Museum and took some silly pictures outside the museum, remember?

 This time, I went to see another old friend. Well, Museo del Prado, of course! I didn't take a lot of pictures because there's a "no photos" policy in some areas of the museum, but my friend managed to sneak these:

These paintings are from the Black Paintings series, from Goya. The first one is a favourite, but the whole area is quite impressive. I did get a funny feeling when I got to these paintings, like some sort of soundtrack was missing. I also found I knew exactly what could be playing as I went from one painting to another:


This was my monday. As for my tuesday, I spent the whole day at home, relaxing, watching movies.

Yesterday's mood except there was no blanket and it was just me (my boyfriend had classes all day). Still, it was a very calm and relaxed day!

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true.
