Going back in time!

Hey everyone! I hope you're all fine and happy, I sure am! Going on a trip always helps me relax and I come back feeling refreshed and ready for another round! I'll write a post with lots of pictures about the days in Granada soon enough, I promise!

 As for today, it was too hot to do anything so I only left the house late in the afternoon to pick up two things I ordered almost two months ago: my CHANEL lip products. I love the products but I'm seriously disappointed at the company I ordered them from. Anyway, the products are amazing, I'm really happy!

 Curious as to what they look like? Good, because I decided to take today's outfit pictures wearing them. *smiles*

 The title of the post reflects the underlining theme of the outfit. I don't always look for a theme, but today I was feeling a bit retro and I decided to reflect that on my clothes.

 In the last picture I'm wearing the lipgloss and I really liked how it looked with the outfit. The colour is rich and the texture very good, not too sticky. As for the rest of the pictures, I'm wearing the lipstick and the first thing I noticed about it was the smell. It smells like flowers in a very realistic way and that's a nice touch to the cosmetic. The texture is also very pleasant and the colour is a nice coral, just what I was looking for. 
About the outfit, you can see I'm wearing my new LEVI'S shorts, bought in Granada, at a vintage store. I love them and I hope Lisbon gets shops like these very soon, because you can find really nice things for a bargain!

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true.
