Últimos recuerdos de Granada!

Hey lovelies! How's eveything going? Are you enjoying these sunny days? 
Well, it seems my trip is coming to an end. We're leaving Granada today and I have to say: the city is beautiful. The monuments, the streets, the arab market, everything creates to the city's unique spirit. 
We were lucky enough to find some good, affordable restaurants to eat (the food in Spain isn't cheap) and nice little places to snack or have breakfast, like today. We took one last look at some shops and I took the chance to buy some recuerdos.


A small perfume stone made of Musk and Strawberries from ALQUIMIA PERVANE, located at the top end of the Calle de las Teterias, know for its many arab tea shops/salons where you can smoke a shisha and have a snack. I also bought a bag of Mint Tea in a shop near Teterias that had an amazing selection of teas and infusions, for a very nice price.
And then our breakfast: berries smoothie, tropical juice and a waffle with strawberries. Definitely a must go place in Granada. Now it's off to the bus and see you soon, Madrid.

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true.
