May's wishlist!

This time around, there'll be more than clothing or cosmetics! A girl also likes her gadgets and music, right?

A lot of different things, hm? :)

 CANON EOS 650D/ NIKON 5200: I've been dreaming of a new camera for quite sometime. Luckily, my dad lets me use his old NIKON, but since it uses film, things can get a bit expensive.
A Dance With Dragons: I've read the whole collection in portuguese, I'm rereading book 3 and watching the tv series and soon I hope to read the books in english.
LUSH: this time, my wishes are a bit different. A lipstick in a pale pink to change my usually bright colours, a body lotion I'm dying to try and the Lovely Jubblies Breast Cream. I've recently told you I got a sample of it and it feels great! I tried it on my eyes and again, amazing!
BIMBA & LOLA: I love the colour blue. Whatever tone or variation of it, I love it! I have a lot of nailpolishes, jewelry, clothes and this bag would be the perfect addition to my blue collection. The turquoise is gorgeous and the shape of it would suit me perfectly for the summer.
OYSHO: The bikini top is so pretty, I can't wait to try it on and see how it fits. As for the black blouse, doesn't it scream "summer" and "hot nights" and "beach"? Ah beach...I can't wait to see you again.
3DS titles: Well, I'm sort of nerdy. For my birthday last year, I treated myself with a Nintendo 3DS+MarioLand 3D. I've acquired 2 Zelda tiltes and a Spyro but now that these two came out...ah, if only money grew on trees *sighs*
Babel, Mumford and Sons: I'm going to be totaly honest: I l-o-v-e this album. The last time I was so excited about an album was when Florence + The Manchine's last album came out, Ceremonials. And Babel has a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's "The Boxer", how cool is that?
Marilyn Tshirt: Where could you possibly find it if not at PEPE JEANS? Their collection about Andy Warhol always makes me sigh and dream of wearing a dress or a skirt. But I can say I'm lucky enough to have a dress with the Campbell's Soup motive.
ZARA: the last two remaining items are from ZARA. Recognize the motive on the second one? If it's not an actual view it's a print inspired by the 36 views of Mount Fuji. The left one has a lot of sexy lips going on.

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. The coral one was also on my wishlist, but I found the colour to be very light on the lips.  So what did I bring? See the black one? "Black lipstick and black blush?" Naah!! The packaging is gorgeous, but I'm a sucker for black and pink. Also the poppy flower print blends in very well with the logo! 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true.
