Oh!, Mr.Postman

Finally, my PopyBox has arrived. "What is a PopyBox??" you wonder. PopyBox is a cosmetic service available in Portugal. With a few questions they create a profile for each user and whenever you order a PopyBox, the products in it fit your profile. We know with which brands the service works but it's always a surprise what's going to be in the box. Plus, I thought the box had sample sizes but in fact they look more like travelling sizes. Curious?

I heard some girls complaining about the products in the box or about the size of the products, but the thing is the brand says loud and clear that these are miniatures, small sizes. And for the brands they offer and the price of the box, I think it's affordable (12,5€+post expenses).
My idea when I ordered the box was to try products I wouldn't normally buy. These are brands I don't use in my daily routines but I don't mind trying new things! Plus, ESSIE is a brand I've heard a lot about and I'm really happy that I have 3 new nailpolishes to try and I love all 3 colours!

 They promisse 5/6 items per box and mine came with 8. Overall, it's a very positive first experience ^^
Since the box came today, I can't really talk about the products, but I'll start trying them out tomorrow, don't worry!

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true.
