Go away Friday!

If I had one word to describe my Friday it would be: BUSY! It's true I slept until noon but since I left home at 4pm until I returned (almost at midnight), I went to soooo many places.
One of the places I went to was no other than LUSH! Again, thumbs up to those lovely ladies for their good mood and generosity! I went to buy 2 soaps and brought home all of these:

Two soaps, Rock Star and Sultana of Soap,  Aromaco deodorant, Ro's Argan body conditioner and Tea Tree toner tab. Awesome, right?

My journey continued. I went to a music store and then to work. Since there's a piano where I work, I decided to try to read some Beatles' scores for piano students. Although I don't play the piano, I had a lot of fun! :)
After work, I went looking for some nailpolishes for my mommy but couldn't find none at the first SEPHORA I went to. Then it was time to visit my favourite chocolatier, XOCOA, and buy some almonds:

Passion Fruit and White Chocolate/Raspberry and White Chocolate. Yummiiii!!

 Finally, dinner with my boyfriend! And then I dragged him to SEPHORA and the poor boy had to wait while I hunted for the perfect nailpolish shades (you Sir are very patient, thank you)! "Hunt" is the right verb; since there's a promotion, all the "common" colours are gone and you have to look really hard to find anything decent! I managed to find these for me:


The photo's not very accurare: the left one looks like an oyster's shell and the right one is purple with sparkles. 

 There'll be no outfit photos today, but I promisse to wear something nice tomorrow and show it!
After such a busy friday, I just want to put on some pajamas and play The Sims 3 or watch TV...or both!

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. The colours look vivid here, but I tested them in the store and was a little disappointed. 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true.
