From the Far East

Today was all about drawing attention. From the print of the dress (and the length) to the bright lips, I felt like wearing something that would really draw a lot of attention.

 It was also a day for pampering my skin, specially my face. I'll show you what I used:

 The first image is Ocean Salt, the second's Cosmetic Warrior and finally me with the mask. I love doing this routine. Cosmetic Warrior really cleans my pores and gets my face ready for the scrub and the combination of both leaves me with a soft and fresh face. Add the lip scrub, and your lips can also get the feeling, thanks to the essential oils that sooth the skin. If you never tried a lip scrub, go to LUSH and grab one.

 I have to say I'm very pleased with the eyeliner. The colour is fantastic and a great change from the bright blue I usually wear. It has a creamy texture and it took me a while to get the hang of it, but I think I did a nice job applying it. As for the lipstick, well... I love how it's really really red, a bright red that contrasts with my skin colour and how good it goes with the colour of the eyeliner.

    olá!!
    Os produtos são bastante acessíveis e as porções das embalagens rendem imenso! Os batons e eyeliners da LUSH custam 17,95€, sendo que o eyeliner traz o dobro duma embalagem normal (disseram-me na loja). Obrigada e continua a aparecer :)

Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller.
