Narrative of a rainy wednesday - in pictures

It seems Spring is taking a vacation some place far away. Today's weather was rain and wind, but luckily it wasn't too cold. I went to the university, went to LUSH, worked a couple of hours and then back home. A very normal day.

First things first. What was I doing at LUSH? Take a look:



Finally it is mine!! Control Eyeliner has come home with me and I can't wait to try it on (It looked awesome in one of the girls from the shop, I'm sooo curious!)!! Contrary to the Independent Eyeliner, this one has a more creamy texture. Also, to make me feel like a princess, The Godmother Soap. It is very similar to the Snow Fairy Shower Gel (if you missed it in the Winter, grab a little of this soap). The only thing the smell of both of them reminds me is cotton candy and fairytales.

 As for the body butter, it is amazing. It is designed for dry skin, with a very rich texture and I can say that my skin is silky and smooth and it'll stay that way until tomorrow. The lipstick and the eyeliner are definitely two of my best purchases and the balm has exceeded all of my expectations!

Being an enthusiast of all things from The Body Shop, I'm always looking forward for new products and ranges. Recently, the brand launched their Smoky Poppy line, with Turkish poppies and just in time for Valentine's day. I have featured the body lotion on this month's wishlist, but along with the line came another product. These Velvet Sticks are suitable for lips and cheeks. 5 fashion things having a job has taught me

Ever since I finished college and started working, some changes have happened in my fashion life. I am the youngest member of the staff, this is my first (almost) full time job and the environment, although casual and laid back, requires a certain discretion and poise on my part. #1 Working at a school and having to deal with the parents as well as with the kids, cleavage/see-throughs/extremely short shorts and skirts are frowned upon. The first two are just rude in a school environment. As for skirts and shorts, I wear them a lot during winter (with tights!), but it becomes tricky in spring. I only wear them when it's to warm to consider anything else. Harem/aladdin pants are also acceptable. Just remember: the shorter the bottoms, the more coverage you should have on your top, going for a boat or round neck tshirt. #2 Balance your makeup. I struggled a little with this one. Colour wishes

With the months passing by and the light of summer holidays shinning brighter at the end of the tunel, i want colour. And light fabrics. I want the warmth of spring as it it slowly transitions into summer and shorts and high-heeled sandals. As always, I'm in love with the same brands. And I'm also trying to get away from my comfort colours and turning to brighter vivid tones, as yellow and red. OYSHO 's bikinis are lovely as always and it's going to be tough pickig just one. ZARA has had major improvements over the last seasons, making it hard for me to buy just what I need. The dress seems so fresh and the pants make me look slim and taller. Plus, anything with an oriental print is a winner with me! I'm addicted to bags; my parents have said this for years and I know it to be true.
